We were fortunate enough to score tickets to see Neil Diamond on December 19th at the Arena formerly known as the Delta Center.

I made a few posters to commemorate the greatness of Neil-Fest '08.
Scott and I decided to have the Pagans and Scott's cousins over for a pre-concert Hanukkah feast. Derek and Mary were going to join us... however, due to the crazy huge snowstorm, they were lucky to even make it to the concert.
Anyways, rambling on... Scott and I made brisket, latkes, and noodle kugel... Harmer brought bubbly, the Austen's brought a delicious apple spice cake, and the Christensen's brought yummy rolls.

I'm so sad to say that we didn't do a better job of documenting the festivities. We only took a few photos of the entire event. Boo to us. Pictured here is Big Dog who looks ready to dig in to the goodness.

This is not a flattering picture of anyone. However, it's one of the only photos we have of people enjoying our marvelous Hanukkah meal. That look on my face says, "Yeah, this food is awesome. I think Neil would approve." Either that or I was starting to get a wicked case of heartburn from the noodle kugel.
